Great script and code. Every browser i’ve used the script on has worked like a dream. Sadly IE 7 has a problem with the thumbnails and the way they are displayed. They seem to display as vertical list rather than horizontial one. I went through all your comments and couldn’t find any ref to this problem. If you haven’t heard of this issue then i’ll upload the site for you to view. I am a newbie to JQuery so it’s probably me!

Thanks for your great work on this. I was using Galleria originally, but it’s so heavy that it was causing a serious delay before the stylesheets would load in IE, enough that it would cause my Cufon text to disappear as well. I switched to yours and it’s fast and light and now my site looks perfect in IE as well. :)

One question though… is it possible to have the main images cropped rather than resized to fit? I couldn’t see an option for it, but I may just be blind.

well~ I have some probelm~
This plungin is really good ~
However, I find if I change the height of pics in thumbs-list less than 60px, the thumb-list will change to more than one line.
how can I fixed this problem?

Hi Andy,
I have been looking at your AD gallery plugin for some time now and it looks pretty amazing, I have only one concern that I cannot seem to find the answer within you write up, basically, I have the need to provide Categories populated via a database that once clicked will pull in the thumbs and large pictures via ajax in to your script, however I cant see if this additional layer will be possible with your script, in the sense of how do I get your script to re-run, if there is a change in category, without refreshing the entire page and or going to a new page. Can you advise?

I hope I have explained it well.

I look forward to and would be extremely grateful for any help you can give.

I just wanted to say this is a great addon. It took a bit of work, but I was able to redo how your descriptions are to fit what I wanted.

Problem for others – Description outside image.

Just recode the code following the call to “_getDescription” to put in your own div instead.

HTML Page I added:

JS File I updated my own div with the desc as shown:

I also tweaked the display for mine with my own custom classes in the _getDescription function for title and description.

That soooo figures. The moment I post I figure it out. Sorry to clutter up your page. You can remove my comments as appropriate, or leave for others.

Basically I just set the UL height to be equal to the IMG height, and that seems to have fixed the problem for me.
